ABOUT SOFTLOC™
Roll the perfect hem with SoftLoc™, which offers significantly better coverage, durability, and comes in a huge variety of colours than what is currently available on the market. With 60 saturated solid colours to choose from, SoftLoc™ is a supple wooly poly thread that is perfect for use in sergers and both knitted and woven materials. Recommended for use on medium to heavy materials, it is completely colourfast and can be ironed even on high heat. All colours selected in collaboration with Angela Wolf, entrepreneur and fashion designer.
I used Softloc in the serger and coverstitch machine on knits, which passed with flying colors. The true test was on fabrics other than knits: rayon, silk charmeuse, silk chiffon, tweed, cashmere, stretch velvet, and denim. I experimented with 3 and 4-thread overlock, rolled hem, narrow overlock, coverstitch and double coverstitch and they all turned out beautiful! Not only that, the softness of the seam finishes inside the garment are so soft against the skin.
