WonderFil™ has teamed up with Sue Spargo, author, teacher, embroidery expert and artist, to bring you a new line of colours in our Eleganza™, Razzle™, and Dazzle™ thread lines! In addition, Sue's Efina™ and Ellana™ thread lines, and wool fabric are offered in her colour lines exclusively. These colours have been selected by Sue Spargo to offer an array of beautiful and inspirational choices.

Material: 2-ply 100% Long Staple Double-Gassed Egyptian Cotton

Weights: 8wt, 5wt, 3wt

Eleganza™ by

This gorgeous 8wt, 2-ply 100% long staple Egyptian cotton thread is double-gassed and mercerized, resulting in a wonderfully smooth and lustrous surface that allows the thread to glide beautifully through all types of fabrics and fibres. The thread’s tight twist creates beautifully firm stitches while its surface sheen produces a luxurious finish to embellishment stitchery. Offered in 90 regular colours, and 50 primitive colours in the Sue Spargo line. Eleganza™ is a perfect match for your next hand work or embellishment project.

Eleganza™ is available in two colour lines: one by WonderFil™ and the other by Sue Spargo.

Razzle™ by

This sturdy 6-ply 100% rayon thread is comparable in weight to a #8 perle cotton. Razzle's natural bright lustre and silky feel make it a wonderful choice for crafts, crocheting, knitting, and accessories. It can even be used in highlighting the details in dimensional stitches. The light play on Razzle™ intensifies stitchery depth and textural effects on wool, making this a stand out thread! 

Material: Rayon with One Strand of Metallic

Dazzle™ by
Sue Spargo

A sturdy 6-ply thread, Dazzle™ is comparable in weight to a #8 perle cotton. This is 100% rayon and metallic mix carries a naturally bright lustre with a silky finish, making it an excellent choice for crafts, crochet, knitting, and highlighting the details on dimensional stitches. Because of Dazzle's™ light reflective properties and "pop" of metallic, the detail on wool appliqué and layering can be enhanced with edging stitches for that extra sparkle.

Ellana™ By
Sue Spargo

Engineered with hand wool appliqué in mind, Ellana™ is a 12wt 2 ply, 50/50 Merino Wool/Acrylic blend. The wool provides a rich colour palette and soft loft, while the acrylic gives the thread unbelievable strength. Its perfect twist allows the thread to gently coat the edge of wool appliqué, melting into the wool.  The result is an almost invisible whipstitch which creates a smooth, clean edge prepared for embellishing. Ellana™ is fray resistant and contains significantly less fuzz, rendering an unparalleled smoothness. Its soft loft is ideal for creating delicate detail when used for hand embroidery. Available in 60 original Sue Spargo colours on manageable 70 yard spools. These colours match Sue's Efina™ cotton thread and wool fabric lines so that projects can easily be coordinated.

Efina™ by
Sue Spargo

Efina™ was developed for hand cotton appliqué. It is a 60wt 2 ply 100% Egyptian Cotton, made exclusively from 100% Giza 88 - the highest calibre extra long staple Egyptian Cotton. Fibres spun with Giza 88 are prized for their extreme softness, strength, and unparalleled lustre. Uniformity in diameter makes Efina™ the perfect choice for hand appliqué. Available in 60 original Sue Spargo colours on handy 150m spools. These colours match Sue's Ellana wool thread and wool fabric lines so that projects can easily be coordinated.

Material: 100% Superior Grade Virgin Australian Merino Wool

Sizes: Fat 1/8 (18” x 14”), fat ¼ (28” x 18”)
